## Title: Medical Administrative Assistant (Hybrid)
About the Role
Placid Health Limited is seeking a dedicated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This hybrid position requires three days per week in-office and two days working remotely, making it ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about supporting healthcare operations.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: 3 days in-office per week, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and external partners
- Handle correspondence including emails, phone calls, and official documentation
- Assist in billing, insurance claims, and payment processing
- Support physicians and clinical staff with administrative tasks
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, and maintain office supplies
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations both in-office and remotely
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Must provide three professional and valid references
