About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee and manage all mechanical works on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical works on site
• Design, conduct design checks, test, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical structures
• Verify accuracy of shop drawings and ensure compliance with specifications, design standards, and local authority requirements
• Analyze and interpret technical data
• Prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets, and timescales
• Monitor mechanical activities on site to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and construction program timelines
• Review and check technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
• Prepare work distribution charts, bills of material, and material delivery schedules
• Develop a workable program of work in line with the project team's schedule
• Supervise and coordinate project personnel, consultants, and contractors to ensure deadlines, procedures, and project requirements are met

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 7 – 10 years of relevant work experience
