Mechanical and Electrical Engineer at Alphabait Realty Ltd

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for building projects
• Prepare M&E layouts, specifications, and equipment schedules
• Conduct load calculations, system sizing, and performance analysis
• Inspect installations on-site to ensure adherence to design and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve M&E-related technical issues during construction
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for system integration
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, ASHRAE)
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and procurement specifications for M&E equipment
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material approvals

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or building systems
• Knowledge of mechanical design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit MEP)
• COREN certification (compulsory)
• Project site supervision skills
