Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, and installation of building services systems across real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems
• Prepare and review M&E designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
• Ensure all systems comply with regulatory standards, safety codes, and project requirements
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate services seamlessly into building designs
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and adherence to approved drawings
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and shop drawings
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of all mechanical and electrical systems
• Monitor project costs and support value engineering initiatives
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution during construction
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Professional registration with COREN
• Relevant experience in real estate or building construction projects
