Material / Logistic Coordinator at Fortis Engineering Services

About the Role

Fortis Engineering Services seeks a dedicated Material & Logistics Coordinator to manage material and logistics activities for assigned projects. You will coordinate delivery of materials, provide Design Engineering Data (DED) input to deliverables, and ensure timely completion to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the material and logistics scope for the BN EPC1 project
• Work within a multi-discipline project team to support quality work delivery on schedule
• Guide contractor teams in delivering required installations for EPC1 systems and equipment packages in line with project specifications
• Adhere to company guidelines on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) and Ethics & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to Shell HSSE standards while delivering within budget constraints (cost control, accounting, schedule, and quality requirements)
• Collaborate with work package engineers to ensure design and construction expectations are met regarding safety, quality, cost, and schedule
• Liaise with procurement teams and vendors to expedite material deliveries for offshore construction
• Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information
• Ensure proper sparing and effective ROS (Required on Site) for all procured items and spare parts needed on site
• Expedite Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery
• Initiate updates to Bill of Materials and Material Masters
• Conduct spend, cost, and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Review Material Supply Chain metrics and propose improvements
• Maintain work-pack library to prevent unnecessary rework

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Technical knowledge of Oil and Gas materials
• Standard procurement competency
• Certified CIPM (Contract & Procurement Management) or equivalent certification
• Contract management expertise
