## Title: Marketing Research Manager - EdTech
Job Summary
The Marketing Research Manager will conduct market research and competitor analysis to translate findings into actionable business recommendations that drive growth in alignment with management's strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prospect datasets in a timely manner to support the sales team in meeting approved product sales projections
- Conduct comprehensive and continuous market trend analysis and submit monthly reports to management
- Perform competitor analysis and submit weekly reports to management
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with tertiary institutions, industry officials, and relevant stakeholders to drive collaborations
Required Skills and Competencies
- Personal Qualities: Passionate, self-motivated personality with strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Zoho platform; excellent social media marketing skills with active presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Emotional Intelligence: High social and relationship management skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum first degree (2:2 or above) in any field; degrees in Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing research and data analysis
- Industry Background: Experience in service sectors including EdTech, FinTech, Telecoms, Education, Insurance, or similar industries
- Performance Evidence: Clear track record of achievements in a marketing research management role within the last 2 years, preferably in Education and Training Services
