We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position.
We’re now preparing for our public launch and are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market execution, drive growth, and help shape the UrbanWish brand.
Role Overview
As Marketing Manager, you will own UrbanWish’s marketing strategy and execution across customer acquisition, brand awareness, provider acquisition support, and revenue growth.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, can balance strategy with execution, and understands how to grow a two-sided marketplace.
You will work closely with the CEO, product, sales/provider acquisition team, and external agencies to ensure UrbanWish launches strong and scales efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market & Growth
- Plan and execute UrbanWish’s launch marketing strategy for Lagos and Abuja.
- Drive user acquisition through paid ads, SEO, influencer partnerships, and content.
- Support provider acquisition campaigns in collaboration with sales reps and partners.
- Continuously test, measure, and optimize acquisition funnels to improve CAC and conversion.
- Manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok, and other relevant channels.
- Own SEO and content strategy to grow organic traffic.
- Track performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, bookings, revenue).
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Build and maintain a strong, consistent UrbanWish brand voice across all touchpoints.
- Oversee creation of marketing assets: landing pages, email campaigns, flyers, videos, and social content.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and creator campaigns tailored to Nigerian audiences.
- Ensure messaging clearly communicates UrbanWish’s value to both users and service providers.
- Manage newsletter campaigns for users, providers, and investors.
- Set up lifecycle marketing (onboarding, reminders, re-engagement, referrals).
- Collaborate with the product team to improve retention, repeat bookings, and reviews.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to align marketing with feature rollouts.
- Manage external partners (creative agencies, influencers, PR, media buyers).
- Help build and scale an in-house marketing team as UrbanWish grows.
