Role Overview: The Business Development Marketing Officer is a crucial role that blends strategic growth with creative market engagement. You’ll be the compass guiding Pipehub into new markets, strengthening customer relationships, and elevating the brand through targeted outreach, partnership cultivation, and insightful marketing campaigns. Your mission is to unlock new business avenues while amplifying Pipehub’s presence in engineering and industrial markets. Key Responsibilities: Business Development
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across engineering sectors and procurement services.
  • Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline, through networking, lead generation, industry events, and referrals. 
  • Register the company as an official vendor with corporate organizations such as Coca-cola.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (e.g., manufacturing, oil & gas, infrastructure).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations that align with client needs and project goals.
  • Close sales and handle post-sales engagement 
Marketing
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies/funnels to generate qualified leads.
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis to provide informed updates on pricing, positioning, and new service opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media and Growth team to ensure brand consistency and effective campaign execution. 
Client Relationship & Brand Management
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Pipehub, representing the company professionally at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Foster long-term partnerships with existing clients by ensuring timely communication and high service satisfaction.
  • Collect and utilize client feedback to refine marketing approaches and business strategy.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Track and report on marketing ROI, business development funnel metrics, and competitive insights.
  • Provide regular dashboards and performance metrics to leadership with recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing — preferably within engineering, industrial services, or B2B sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills and target driven
  • Ability to translate technical services into compelling business value propositions.
  • Research-driven mindset with capability to analyze market trends.
