## Title: Marketing and Sales Officer

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Marketing and Sales Officer at Fadac Resources in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Segment target markets (end-consumers, B2B, distributors, retailers) to tailor positioning and messaging
  • Develop marketing plans and sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, including new product launches, import substitution, and shelf-life extension claims
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and trends in nutrition, food, and biotech sectors; identify opportunities and threats
  • Develop or support packaging, labeling, and promotional materials that reflect brand identity, quality, and market promise
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and other trade partners relevant to product lines (food products, bio-ingredients, lab/media, etc.)
  • Implement trade promotions, deals, in-store activations, and retailer engagements to accelerate product uptake
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, field, trade shows) to increase awareness and demand
  • Manage customer feedback loops by gathering insights from customers, retailers, and end-users; communicate findings to R&D, production, quality, and operations teams to improve products or positioning
  • Ensure excellent customer service and help resolve issues regarding product quality and delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a closely related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the FMCG sector, with particular emphasis on food products
  • Deep knowledge of consumer behavior, product positioning, and market penetration strategies
  • Experience with distribution networks, trade promotions, and retail engagement in the food and FMCG market
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure product, promotion, and delivery alignment
  • Analytical skills and comfort with sales and marketing metrics
