## Title: Marketing and Customer Service Manager

About the Role

An established company is recruiting a Marketing and Customer Service Manager to lead and develop their marketing and customer service operations in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Marketing and customer service team, providing leadership, training, and coaching
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and support to enhance sales and customer service skills
  • Develop sales and customer service strategies to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets
  • Set individual sales targets with sales and customer service team members
  • Develop and refine sales scripts with agents
  • Track, collate, and interpret sales figures and reporting
  • Ensure the marketing and customer service team have the necessary resources to perform effectively
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients to drive business growth
  • Plan and direct marketing and customer service training in collaboration with the Human Resources department
  • Assist the Human Resources department during hiring processes
  • Control expenses and monitor budgets for the marketing and customer service department
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts to senior management with insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 15 years' post-NYSC experience
  • Extensive experience in sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in real estate sales (strong advantage)
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
