## Title: Marine Advisor I
About the Role
A dynamic team is expanding and seeking experienced marine talent to join our operations. In this role, you will work to ensure the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers while managing and overseeing critical contractors including tug and port services providers.
Main Functions
- Assure the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers
- Manage and oversee all associated critical contractors including tug and port services providers
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on pre-job planning and write procedures
- Perform risk assessments
- Serve as client field representative offshore on marine activities, advising the Lead Drilling Supervisor or Completion Supervisor (D&C PIC)
- Conduct post-job debriefs and submit post-job reports
- Conduct rig move activities
Required Qualifications
- University degree
- Master Mariner's license
- Prior marine experience in a senior officer position
- Minimum of 10 Jack-Up rig moves and support vessel operations offshore
- Experience performing rig inspection for marine-related equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in company operations organization
Core Competencies
- Strong safety culture and commitment to zero harm principles
- Expert knowledge of current large tanker applied mooring operations and best practices
- Strong knowledge of applied Operations Integrity Systems, specifically OI 8-1
- Excellent pre-job planning and procedure-writing capabilities
