Student Levels

• Year 10 (SS1 equivalent)
• Year 8 (JSS2 equivalent)
• Year 6 (Primary 6 equivalent)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and age-appropriate online lessons tailored to each child's level
• Prepare weekly academic lesson plans for each child
• Provide assignments, practice questions, and periodic assessments
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
• Maintain consistent communication and punctuality
• Use digital tools to enhance learning effectively and efficiently
• Ensure a stable and strong internet connection during all lessons

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mandarin, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Demonstrated teaching experience in Mandarin as a subject
• Ability to teach remotely using Zoom, Google Meet, and similar platforms
• Excellent communication skills and strong command of English
• Patience and ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups
• Professional approach to confidentiality and safeguarding
• Access to a laptop or desktop computer with webcam and reliable internet connection

Schedule and Availability

Tutoring schedules will be fixed based on each child's timetable and your availability. All sessions will be conducted according to UK time.

Compensation

Compensation is based on your experience, subject expertise, and weekly teaching hours.
