Managing Director, Asset and Funds Management at Domeo Resources International (DRI)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead our finance company specializing in asset and funds management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving overall strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering sustainable growth.

The MD must be an SEC Sponsored Individual, duly approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to function in this role, and will represent the firm with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the company's asset and funds management operations
• Oversee investment strategies, portfolio performance, and risk management to maximize returns for clients
• Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations, corporate governance frameworks, and internal policies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative financial products and services
• Drive business growth through client acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion
• Manage, mentor, and motivate the leadership team to achieve corporate objectives
• Represent the company at industry events, regulatory engagements, and high-level meetings

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage)
• Must be an SEC Sponsored Individual, approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to occupy this role
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role within asset/fund management, investment banking, or related financial services
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian capital markets, SEC regulations, and compliance frameworks
• Proven track record in strategic leadership
