Maintenance Team Lead (Boiler) at Seven Up Bottling Company

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Team Lead (Boiler) at our Lagos facility. In this role, you will oversee the critical boiler operations that ensure uninterrupted steam generation to meet plant requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of boilers (both gas-fired and waste heat recovery units) to ensure uninterrupted steam generation as per plant requirements
• Monitor boiler parameters and analyse data recorded by operators; diagnose and troubleshoot boiler issues
• Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of fuel consumption (diesel), water treatment, and emissions
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares
• Supervise boiler water treatment, chemical dosing, and blowdown practices
• Supervise boiler operators across shifts and provide on-the-job training and competency development for operating staff
• Coordinate actively with the Utility/Power House team in boiler operation and arresting of steam leakages
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the Water Treatment Plant

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate approved by the Director of Factories, Nigeria
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven supervisory or shift-in-charge experience in boiler operation and power plant for at least 3 years
