## Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler I

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Planner/Scheduler I at Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance activities while ensuring a comprehensive understanding of safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements, work selection criteria, work planning, norms estimating, procurement practices, business practices and controls, contractor interface management, and job pack development.

In this role, you will demonstrate strong skills in scheduling work tasks to ensure efficient resource utilization and excellent coordination between operations (equipment readiness and permitting), material availability, construction equipment support, and labor crew composition and assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate that safety is the top priority in all activities
  • Participate in planning with Core and Work Teams
  • Plan and schedule routine maintenance work as required
  • Develop schedules, cost estimates, and equipment planning for routine work during turnaround windows in collaboration with planners
  • Plan complex jobs and develop resource plans with the Scheduler, Execution Lead, and Operations across all disciplines
  • Identify and monitor critical and sub-critical paths for major events
  • Apply advanced functions of Planning and Estimating Tools as applicable to the position
  • Educate field execution personnel on look-ahead schedules and ensure timely work progression
  • Provide input to maintenance work contracting and procurement strategies and steward implementation
  • Resolve scheduling issues including negative float, out-of-sequence updates, resource overloads, scope changes, and progress validation
  • Develop complete job plans including materials, resources, and timelines
  • Provide input into construction material selection and management
  • Plan, estimate, track, and schedule Field Orders

Required Qualifications

Suitable candidates should possess knowledge and experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, safety management, procurement practices, and coordination across operations, materials, equipment, and labor resources.
