## Title: Maintenance Officer

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Officer at Precious Palm Royal Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, hallways, kitchen, laundry, spa, poolside, and offices
Carry out minor plumbing repairs (leaks, clogged drains, faucets)
Perform electrical maintenance (light fixtures, breakers, sockets, switches), under supervision
Repair or replace worn-out appliances, fixtures, furniture, and fittings
Address guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored

Implement scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, water pumps, AC units, generators, fire alarms, and other machinery
Support the Maintenance Supervisor in developing maintenance logs and checklists
Monitor and maintain hotel utilities to prevent downtime or hazards

Ensure compliance with hotel safety protocols, electrical and mechanical standards
Report potential hazards, risks, or non-functioning equipment immediately
Support fire safety equipment checks (extinguishers, alarms, emergency exits)
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times

Assist in painting, polishing, and general aesthetics work to maintain hotel appearance
Maintain cleanliness and safety in workshop and maintenance storage areas
Support landscaping and outdoor maintenance when required

Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, security, and other departments to resolve facility issues
Provide daily updates to the Maintenance Supervisor on completed tasks and pending issues
Document repairs, parts replacement, and maintenance activities
