Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance, ensuring equipment uptime, production efficiency, safety compliance, and long-term asset management.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Oversee the maintenance of all production, processing, packaging, and refrigeration equipment
• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently with minimal disruption to production
• Monitor equipment and system performance to detect issues early and schedule necessary interventions

Team Leadership

• Supervise and manage a multidisciplinary maintenance team including technicians, electricians, and fitters
• Recruit, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure optimal performance and technical competency
• Delegate tasks and monitor team progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and safety standards

Equipment and Asset Management

• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment
• Oversee procurement and stock control of maintenance materials and ensure timely availability
• Manage lifecycle maintenance and replacement schedules for major equipment and infrastructure

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant safety regulations, health standards, and environmental policies
• Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities for hazards and operational efficiency
• Develop and enforce safety protocols and emergency response procedures within the maintenance department

Budget and Cost Control

• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets
• Monitor and control maintenance costs while maintaining quality standards
