Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Lubricant Sales Manager to develop visitation and activity schedules to facilitate achievement of sales targets
• Develop sales plans based on approved sales strategy in conjunction with the Lubricant Sales Manager
• Conduct regular customer visitations and manage customer relationships
• Proactively identify and report on potential revenue streams
• Process customer orders and coordinate with distribution personnel to ensure prompt product delivery in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide technical services to current and prospective customers to drive product sales and increase customer satisfaction
• Log and address customer complaints; escalate appropriate issues and follow-up with relevant personnel to ensure proper resolution
• Proactively gather and maintain current customer data and regularly update the customer database to ensure reliability and accuracy
• Monitor relevant developments in customer operations, including procurement of new technology that may impact business dealings, and communicate appropriately to the Lubricant Sales Manager
• Collate and analyze sales data and generate periodic sales reports for the Lubricant Sales Manager; monitor and report on competitor activities
• Prepare agreed activity and performance reports on a timely basis for the Lubricant Sales Manager and other relevant stakeholders
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lubricant Sales Manager

Required Qualifications

• Second class degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant degree in Physical Sciences and Engineering
• 7 – 9 years of relevant experience

Required Competencies

• Good knowledge of products and services, specifically in lubricants
• Good understanding of the lubricants market and industry dynamics
