Logistics & Procurement Officer

About the Role

The Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to construction sites. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and resolving logistics-related issues to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the site engineer to ensure timely ordering of raw materials in alignment with production timelines
• Identify material needs, purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee organisational efficiency
• Build and manage relationships with vendors and partners
• Maintain a detailed database of suppliers, vendors, and partners
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and delivery partners
• Coordinate with delivery partners to ensure timely product delivery to customers
• Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency metrics
• Direct and coordinate the complete order cycle from ordering to delivery
• Oversee finished goods stock and provide reports on stock availability and low stock levels
• Address queries regarding late deliveries and work with delivery partners to resolve issues
• Achieve a 90% on-time delivery rate in line with organisational promises to clients
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on activities, delivery costs, and process efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BSc or HND qualification in a related field
• Minimum 4 years of core experience in supply chain or logistics roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
• Based in Yaba, Ikeja, or surrounding areas
