This venture provides seamless, cost-effective shipping solutions for Nigerian importers and businesses abroad who wish to ship personal, domestic, or business goods to Nigeria. Our core service involves grouping shipments from multiple clients into single containers for efficient importation, allowing smaller shipments that cannot fill a container individually to be consolidated and transported cost-effectively.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven individual to lead this new business unit as our Logistics Business Supervisor. You will serve as the strategic head of the Groupage Logistics unit, responsible for establishing, scaling, and supervising all aspects of the operation from client acquisition to final delivery in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract and secure Nigerians, businesses, and organizations importing from abroad who require groupage shipping services to Nigeria
• Actively source and build strong, long-term relationships with clients and agents abroad, serving as the primary point of contact for all groupage logistics needs
• Achieve aggressive targets for container volume and shipment frequency

Marketing & Team Supervision

• Supervise and direct a team of Marketing Officers and Agents, providing training, targets, and support to maximize client sourcing efforts
• Oversee marketing and communication strategies targeting the Nigerian diaspora

Operational Management

• Oversee the entire logistics chain, including consolidation and packing, international freight booking, customs clearance, and final delivery/pick-up in Nigeria
• Ensure strict adherence to all international and Nigerian customs regulations and shipping protocols
• Manage budgets and negotiate rates
