Logistics and Procurement Officer

Position Overview

FMR AGENCY is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics & Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations within our plastic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing of raw materials and spare parts while coordinating efficient distribution of finished products, in line with production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials and machinery spare parts
• Maintain and regularly update a database of reliable and approved vendors
• Negotiate competitive pricing, delivery timelines, and favorable payment terms without compromising material quality

Inventory Control

• Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials to prevent production downtime due to stock-outs
• Optimize inventory levels to avoid excessive capital tie-up
• Supervise organized storage of raw materials and finished plastic products
• Ensure strict adherence to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory movement

Quality Assurance

• Collaborate closely with the Production Department to ensure all incoming materials meet required technical and quality specifications

Logistics & Distribution

• Manage dispatch and transportation of finished goods (containers, pallets, or bulk orders) to distributors and end-users
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries
• Prepare and manage all logistics and shipping documentation, including waybills, Goods Received Notes (GRN), and customs documentation for imported raw materials and equipment

Reporting & Compliance

• Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as procurement costs and supplier lead times
