Loan Officer

Key Responsibilities: - Approve loan applications within specified approval limits and refer applications outside approved limits to management for further approval. - Meet with loan applicants to obtain required information and respond to inquiries regarding the loan application process. - Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit history, and collateral/property valuations to determine loan feasibility. - Explain available loan products, credit options, and applicable terms and conditions to customers. - Obtain, verify, and compile loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other relevant financial documentation. - Review, update, and maintain accurate credit and loan files in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk management guidelines, and regulatory standards. - Provide periodic reports on loan portfolio performance as required.
