Position Overview

The nurse will provide nursing care, treatment, and follow-up of patients according to doctors' prescriptions, protocols applied in the service, and universal hygiene standards and precautions. The goal is to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and treatment to patients following medical prescriptions and established protocols
• Work closely with the medical team to provide holistic services to patients
• Implement and maintain universal hygiene standards, bio-hazard prevention, and infection control measures in the medical premises
• Ensure high standards of hygiene in the working environment and enforce security rules and procedures
• Supervise nurse assistants and patients in the unit using available tools and resources
• Maintain accurate documentation and handover records of all procedures performed during shifts
• Register new admissions and manage discharged patients' files and relevant checklists
• Maintain regular presence at duty station and collaborate effectively with team members
• Conduct Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) by maintaining patient contact, providing health information, and answering medical questions
• Organize and carry out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions
• Assist during consultations, daily rounds, and other medical procedures
• Participate in health education for patients and families when necessary
• Identify victims of sexual and gender-based violence and refer them to the medical team for appropriate treatment
