LGA Regional Officer (Offa, Edu,Baruteen and Kaiama)

About the Organization

A health-related organization in Kwara State is seeking a Regional Officer to drive marketing, community engagement, and administrative operations across four local government areas.

Position Overview

The Regional Officer will be responsible for facilitating community outreach, identifying partnership opportunities, and managing customer registrations across the Offa, Edu, Baruten, and Kaiama local government areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate mass sensitization campaigns and community awareness programs to ensure adequate penetration of organizational services to the public
• Identify and engage community groups, townships, and organizations that can be leveraged for marketing activities
• Identify high net worth individuals and community development associations capable of sponsoring services for community members, and submit monthly reports to head office
• Conduct customer registrations (both manual and electronic) for walk-in clients at designated venues within respective local government areas and other approved centers
• Ensure accuracy and correctness of all collected data before submission
• Respond to inquiries from prospective beneficiaries and orient walk-in customers about organizational services
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports of activities to head office

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Preference given to candidates based in Offa, Edu, Baruten, or Irepodun local government areas, Kwara State

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or Business Administration (MBA)
• Background in health insurance
