Legal Officer

Position Overview: - We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Officer to join our dynamic team. - If you have a passion for real estate law, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to safeguard business interests while enabling growth. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents. - Oversee title documentation, land regularization, and property registration processes. - Provide legal advisory support on all real estate transactions. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. - Liaise with government agencies, regulators, and external solicitors. - Manage legal disputes, arbitration, and litigation processes. - Conduct due diligence on property acquisitions and partnerships. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B), BL; Master’s in Law (LL.M) is an advantage. - Minimum of 8 years post-call experience, with at least 5 years in real estate law. - Membership in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is mandatory. - Strong understanding of Nigerian property law, land documentation, and compliance. - Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
