## Title: Legal Executive Officer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Legal Executive Officer.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Barrister-at-Law (B.L) from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 3 years post-call experience
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial services sector (preferred)
- Membership of professional associations such as the Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, or Compliance Institute of Nigeria (advantageous)
Required Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial laws and regulations, including those from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
- Experience with corporate governance, anti-money laundering (AML), and data protection laws
- Knowledge of the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)
- Knowledge of GDPR (advantageous)
