## Title: Legal Executive Officer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Legal Executive Officer.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution
- Barrister-at-Law (B.L) qualification
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years post-call experience
- Preferably at least 2 years in the financial services sector
Professional Memberships
- Membership of professional associations such as the Nigerian Bar Association, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, or Compliance Institute of Nigeria (advantageous)
Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial laws and regulations, including those from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
- Experience with corporate governance, anti-money laundering (AML), and data protection laws
- Knowledge of NDPR and GDPR (advantageous)
