Legal and Compliance Analyst at FCSL Asset Management Company

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Legal and Compliance Analyst to provide comprehensive legal and compliance support to the organization. You will work closely with management and various departments to ensure the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory support to the company and management on all matters
• Conduct thorough legal research on various legal matters, including statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents
• Analyze and interpret legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court rulings
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
• Advise on the interpretation of laws and regulations, monitoring amendments and updating management on implications
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts
• Review offering and investment memoranda
• Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
• Maintain and update legal files and databases
• Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for the legal team
• Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) as required or delegated

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (BL) or Juris Doctor (LLB)
• 4-5 years of experience in commercial law firms or in-house financial services
