About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Port-Harcourt for an experienced Legal Advisor. You will provide comprehensive legal guidance to the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while managing legal risks across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on compliance matters
• Prepare, review, and draft legal documents
• Address legal issues and disputes in a timely manner
• Handle labor and employment law matters
• Review and analyze contracts to minimize legal risks
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant corporate legal experience
• Proven experience in legal document preparation
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in the legal aspects of the oil & gas or related industries
