Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification with three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II, including:
  • Minimum twenty-five (25) points in admissible publications
  • Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
  • Minimum five (5) publications
• Ph.D. in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine with registration from MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)
• Master's Degree with three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II, including:
  • Minimum thirty (30) points in admissible publications
  • Minimum five (5) citations
  • Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
  • Minimum six (6) publications

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visibility on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with minimum five (5) citations
• First-time university teaching appointments must enter at the rank of Lecturer I or below
