About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti seeks a qualified Lecturer I in Pharmacology & Toxicology to join its academic staff.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following pathways:

Pathway A: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Pathway B: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum score of two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible research profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation count of at least five (5)
• First-time university appointees enter at Lecturer I rank (maximum entry level)
