About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting a Lecturer I in Pharmacognosy and Herbal Medicine. This is an academic position for qualified professionals in the field of pharmacy and herbal medicine research.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following educational and professional qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification with a minimum of three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II, admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points, and a minimum Job Appraisal score of 45 points; OR
• Master's Degree with a minimum of three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II, admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points, citations not less than 5, and a minimum Job Appraisal score of 45 points

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) publications (for Ph.D. holders) or six (6) publications (for Master's Degree holders)
• Active membership in relevant professional bodies
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible presence on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with a minimum of 5 citations
• First-time appointees to the University will enter at Lecturer I rank or below
