About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti as a Lecturer I in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology.

Key Requirements

Academic Qualification:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, OR
• Master's Degree

For Ph.D. Holders:

• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of not less than forty-five (45) points

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation score of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of not less than forty-five (45) points

Professional Requirements:

• Current membership in relevant professional body or bodies
• Minimum score of two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation record of not less than five (5)

Note: First-time appointees to teaching positions in the University may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
