About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified academic professional to join our expanding team as a Lecturer I in the Department of Medicine and Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lecturer I, you will be expected to:

• Deliver quality teaching and instruction in Medicine and Surgery
• Conduct research and contribute to scholarly publications
• Mentor and supervise students
• Contribute to departmental and institutional development

Required Qualifications

• PhD Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience
• Minimum of Second Class Lower degree at the undergraduate level (in addition to postgraduate qualification)
• Registered member of relevant professional bodies
• Computer literacy

Publication Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) publication points
• At least two (2) publications must be from reputable journals

Salary and Terms

Salary Grade: CONUASS 4

Conditions of Service: In accordance with the conditions of service applicable to other Federal Universities in Nigeria.
