Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine
• Registration with MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)

For Ph.D. Holders:

• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points
• Minimum 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum five (5) publications

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points
• Citation not less than five (5)
• Minimum 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum six (6) publications

Professional Requirements:

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation not less than five (5)

Appointment Level

Successful applicants taking up teaching appointment in the University for the first time will enter at Lecturer I rank or below.
