Lecturer I (Mass Communication)

Required Qualifications: and Experience Applicants must possess the following: - A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university OR a Master’s degree in Mass Communication with evidence of significant progress toward a Ph.D. - At least three (3) years teaching and research experience at the university level or equivalent. - Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, consistent with the requirements for Lecturer I. - Demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduate courses in Mass Communication. - Ability to engage in research and contribute to knowledge through publications. - Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., NIPR, APCON, ARCON) will be an added advantage. - Adequate ICT skills and familiarity with modern teaching and learning methods.
