Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting a Lecturer I in Information & Communication Engineering.

Academic Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

• Ph.D. Holders: Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II with admissible publications totaling at least twenty-five (25) points and a minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Master's Degree Holders: Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II with admissible publications totaling at least thirty (30) points, citations not less than five (5), and a minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Publication and Research Requirements

• Minimum number of publications: five (5) for Ph.D. holders; six (6) for Master's degree holders
• Citations not less than five (5) (applicable to Master's degree holders)
• Must be visible on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation count of at least five (5)

Professional Requirements

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Appointment Terms

Successful applicants taking up teaching appointments at the University for the first time will enter at the rank of Lecturer I or below.
