Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points
• Job Appraisal score of not less than 45 points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Ph.D. in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine registered with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)

Pathway 2: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of not less than 45 points

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in professional body/bodies
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visibility on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation of not less than five (5)
