Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting for the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Guidance and Counselling.

Qualifications Required

Applicants must meet ONE of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Pathway 2: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum six (6) publications
• Citation record of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of at least forty-five (45) points

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible academic profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation record of not less than five (5)
• First-time university appointees may enter at not more than the rank of Lecturer I
