About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in Educational Foundations.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Pathway 2: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation not less than five (5)
• Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation not less than five (5)

Salary and Grade

CONUASS Grade 4

First-time appointees to the University may enter at the rank of Lecturer I, provided all requirements are met.
