Requirements

Academic Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine
• Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), as applicable

Professional Experience

• Minimum three (3) years as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility

Publications and Research Impact

• Minimum five (5) peer-reviewed publications
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum citation count of five (5) on Google Scholar or ResearchGate
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Professional Standing

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate

First-time appointees to the University may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
