Lead, Learning and Development

Position Overview

The Concept Group is seeking a Lead, Learning and Development to define and ensure the delivery of learning and development programs across the group. This role involves identifying and planning learning and development requirements, supporting employees participating in external learning programs, and ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes.

The job holder will lead the learning and development team in the design and delivery of quality learning and development solutions that meet individual and organizational needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the development of all soft skills training, including career development activities, in line with HR strategy
• Lead and oversee a culture of continuous learning and development of employees in line with business goals
• Perform training needs analysis in conjunction with line managers, identify skill gaps, and create training intervention programs
• Evaluate learning and development activities to ensure the transfer of learning and impact on individual, team, and organizational performance
• Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
• Design annual training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timescales
• Lead the development and implementation of learning and development strategies, plans, and policies
• Coordinate the implementation of L&D plans against agreed timelines and budgets, and report against agreed performance measures
• Manage the implementation of L&D plans and strategies by maximizing internal resources and contracting with external partners when required
• Review L&D policies and processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Design induction programs for new hires, conduct orientation sessions, and arrange on-the-job training where necessary
• Plan, develop, and provide training programs
