Role Summary - We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Laboratory Scientist to join our dedicated team. - You will play a vital role in performing diagnostic tests, supporting patient care, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of laboratory procedures for our inpatient and outreach programs. Key Responsibilities - Perform hematological, biochemical, microbiological, and molecular tests, especially for sickle cell disease, malaria, and pediatric conditions. - Maintain proper documentation and quality assurance protocols. - Calibrate, operate, and maintain lab equipment efficiently. - Support the medical team with timely and accurate test results. - Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent. - Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital lab. - Experience with hematology testing and pediatric samples is an advantage. - Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and compassion for children.
