Job Summary

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as instructed by cooks or supervisors
• Assist in portioning and arranging food items
• Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment
• Clean preparation tables, countertops, sinks, and cooking areas
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floor regularly
• Ensure all waste bins are emptied and cleaned
• Follow all food safety and hygiene rules

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is an advantage
• Ability to stand for long hours
• Physically fit, capable of lifting light to moderate items
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and shifts as required
• Neat, punctual, and well-groomed appearance
