Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team with food preparation, portioning, packaging, and maintaining hygiene standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation including washing, chopping, and prepping ingredients
• Support cooking of basic dishes under supervision
• Portion and package meals accurately for delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and work areas
• Receive and store ingredients and supplies appropriately
• Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Assist the cook/chef with daily kitchen tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role
• Basic cooking and meal-prep skills
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak periods
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Trustworthy, punctual, and committed
