Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas and cooking stations according to the established hygiene standards. In addition, the Kitchen Assistant assists the cook with the preparation of meal ingredients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this Position - Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic - Sorting, storing, and distributing food ingredients - Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately - Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking food, as well as helping to prepare salads and desserts - Assisting with the preparation and cooking of food - Disposing of trash - Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors, and other kitchen tools or areas. Requirments - Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification. - Ability to work as part of a team - Ability to follow instructions - Good communication skills - Customer service skills - High standards of hygiene - Time management skills - Interpersonal ability - Team oriented
