Kitchen Assistant

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure cleanliness of surroundings and sterilization/sanitation of kitchen prep area and food trays. - Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required. - Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans, Clean floors, dishes, burners and pots. - Prepare for opening the next morning by cleaning and shutting down fryers and broilers. - Cooperate effectively with colleagues. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and follow property policies and procedures while overseeing personal responsibilities. - Remove wash dishware, flatware, and glassware from the dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use. - Sanitize heavy equipment including dishwasher, mixer and slicer. - Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time. Requirements: - A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate - Proven experience as a kitchen Assistantor relevant position.. - Ability to communicate, read and write. - Organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to work under pressure - Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records. - Polite and able to get along with people.
