Junior Web / Mobile Developer

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ikeja, Lagos. As a Junior Web/Mobile Developer, you will work with our development team to build and maintain both front-end and back-end functionalities of our tech products. You will be expected to learn quickly and collaborate effectively with senior developers to deliver high-quality applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web and mobile applications
• Work with senior developers to implement new features and fix bugs
• Build responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Integrate APIs and backend services
• Deploy websites into production
• Manage CPanel administration and SSL implementation for website security
• Optimize developed features for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, readable, and testable code
• Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and usability
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Learn and apply best practices in software development
• Meet team deadlines

Technical Requirements

• Excellent understanding of web development life cycle
• Experience with UI/UX design
• Strong knowledge of React, HTML, CSS, and Java
• Core working knowledge of PHP and Laravel
• Database design and development experience with MySQL/MSSQL
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO)
• Proficiency with web development tools
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly
