Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking, and creative Junior Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, support senior chefs, and help maintain high culinary and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to restaurant standards
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
• Help with ingredient preparation (cutting, marinating, seasoning, portioning, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies

Requirements

• Qualification: NCE/OND
• Previous kitchen or culinary experience is an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
• Must be disciplined, neat, and eager to learn

Schedule

• Full-time, shift-based position
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
