## Title: Junior Associate - Lawyer
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Junior Associate will assist Senior Associates in handling complex legal matters, prepare legal documentation, represent clients in court proceedings, and provide strategic legal advice.
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough legal research, collaborating with clients to develop case strategies, and contributing to the firm's ongoing success in achieving favorable outcomes for its clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Associates in handling complex legal matters
- Prepare legal documentation and court filings
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies
- Manage multiple high-stakes cases under tight deadlines
- Mentor junior associates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) (mandatory)
- Minimum of 4 years of post-call legal experience, with a focus on dispute resolution or similar practice areas
- Master's degree in Law or related fields (preferred)
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong negotiation and client management skills
- Deep understanding of Nigerian law and ability to apply legal concepts effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Attention to detail and strategic planning capabilities
- Computer literacy
- Professional presentation and articulate communication

Compensation
- Monthly Salary: N600,000 - N700,000
